Faire Direct Sign Up Offer
Faire updated the Faire Direct sign up offer for retailers - the sign up offer is the deal that retailers who are new to Faire get when signing up for an account with your Faire Direct link (not applicable for retailers already on Faire). These customers will still be 0% commission for you and are now eligible for 50% off their first order (up to $150) + 1 year of free shipping + Net 60 Terms + Free Return. Bigger orders for you, bigger discount for your retailers.
Make sure to check places if you have the outdated offer in automations, websites, etc. Your website widget and email templates in the campaign tool will automatically update.
Recommended Action Item: Email your "not signed up" customer list to notify them about the new offer and convert some more retailers. I know you are very busy so please let me know if you'd like me to do this for you and save you some time!

New Faire for Teams
You can now set up separate log-ins for each of your team members (as Members or Admins) so they can have their own Faire portal. This has been a huge ask, so we are super excited to launch this feature. See the different profiles & how to set up your team on your account here.
Messaging Update
Small but mighty update: you can now mark retailer messages as unread.
Damaged & Missing Process Update
Great news: you will now have 10 days to dispute a missing/damaged report before a deduction is made from your payout. This has effectively doubled the dispute window to give you ample time to review your reports & cross check details with your fulfillment team. The Faire team also made a few improvements to visibility & reporting to hopefully make this process easier for you too. More on the process here and here.
Tip of the Month
One of the most important things you can do for your products to be more discoverable in the Faire marketplace is to update your product titles. This should take you less than 20 minutes to update, depending on the size of your catalog, but I would definitely prioritize this. What we recommend:
Be as descriptive as possible: include color, material, fragrance and unique features in the product title (more info here)
Use the full 60 character limit in the title (the title carries more weight than the description in search - add any other synonyms in the description)
Do not put the SKU number in the title - it takes up valuable space
If your product has a special name (e.g. Addie earrings), you can include "Addie" in the title for existing customers, but make sure it also has the descriptive terms so new retailers can find it.
Update with seasonal keywords (e.g. fall, holiday, etc. if applicable)
Use the Bulk Editor in Faire to easily update product titles

You guessed it - Summer is over! Reminder to optimize your product names & descriptions with these keywords where it is applicable. We recommend you creating some relevant collections & sharing them out via email campaign.
Think: Halloween, fall decor, holiday decorations, Christmas, Holiday Ornaments, candles, holiday mugs, pumpkin.
